Qualify for either Cultural or Athletic self-employment

2+ years of relevant experience

Demonstrate that you intend to become self-employed in Canada

Score at least 35 points out of 100 on IRCC's point based application system

Proficiency in English or French demonstrated in the IRCC language test

Demonstrate the ability to adapt to life in Canada based on factors including family already living in Canada, completed schooling in Canada, previous work experience in Canada, and a spouse or partner with advanced training or education.

Prove to a visa officer that you have enough money to settle in Canada with your dependents and finance the work you applied for

Complete your IRCC Self-Employed Visa application package and all supporting documentation requirements

Pay all applications fees starting at $1540 CA

Submit you your fingerprints and photo and all biometrics fees

Pay for and submit and required 3rd-party documentation such as medical exams or language tests
