A Girl’s Guide to Spending Thanksgiving in New York City
A tradition in my family is spending Thanksgiving in NYC. I love going to New York City during the holiday season! If you want to go or if you are planning on going soon, you can use my checklist to help you plan some of the best places to visit and neighborhoods to explore.

The High Line Hotel (where were stayed, amazing boutique hotel in the Meatpacking District)

Intelligencia Coffee (a Chicago favorite, located inside The High Line Hotel)

Shopping and exploring SoHo (my favorite NYC neighborhood)

Chelsea Market (a few blocks from The High Line Hotel)

Balthazar (one of my favorite NYC restaurants) in SoHo for lunch, brunch, or dinner

Winter Village at Bryant Park (great popup shops, ice skating, and a restaurant)

Holiday lights on 5th Avenue (breathtaking and will make you feel like a kid!)

See the Christmas tree, where The Today Show is filmed, and ice skating at Rockefeller Center

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade (a must if you are in NYC for Thanksgiving!)

Westway Diner (you have to dine at a typical NYC diner)

The Empire State Building (so much fun, amazing views, and a must in NYC!)

The Nomad Bar (at The Nomad Hotel, currently one of the best bars in America)

The Smith (Nomad) (great NYC restaurant, had Thanksgiving dinner here)

Blue Bottle Coffee (a NYC favorite!)

9/11 Memorial (beautiful and heartbreaking)

Chinatown (shop in Chinatown and eat at the Golden Unicorn)

Little Italy (shop and head to Caffè Roma for hot chocolate and great desserts)

Time Square (explore and eat some greasy pizza!)
