Winters in Chicago are typically brutal and can be pretty long but make the most of it with this list of the best things to see and do during the winter in Chicago. Use this checklist to plan out your winter weekends, this will give you some different ideas, perfect for locals or even if you are visiting Chicago.

  • Winter is the perfect time to visit some of Chicago's museums. There are also some free days coming up which is a great opportunity to visit. Museum of Contemporary Art is still on my list and it's free to Illinois residents every Tuesday!
